Double Exposure
For this project Chris was my model. I had one light on the backround on one on half is face. i cut out the image, put it on black and white and then added my sunset picture. I had to use layer mask and then blended it. I moved it so you could see his eyes.

Shadow and Light
For This Project the most difficult part for me was the cutting. I drew out this design, traced it on hard stock paper, and then cut it out. For the photo we had a black backround and shined a light on the object. I got close and i used the rule of thirds to take the picture.

Food Photography
For this Photo I chose to take a picture of ice cream. The photo is simple but has a lot of color and detail. I first turned the exposure down because the picture was a little bright. Next I chose to offset the picture. I then turned the Highlights up.
For this photo I took a close up of fruit in a bowl. The lighting was really good on this photo so all i did was add highlights to bring them out more.

Low Key Photography
For the low-key photography project, Caiti was my model. We went in the dark room, set up the light and she sat on the stool. I stood beside her and made sure i used the rule of thirds and adjusted the light so she had a shadow on her face. I then went to light-room and used the black and white tool. I also used the burn tool to get out what i needed too.
For this project we created a dark background and used a high shutter speed and one light source.

Levitation
For this project I took two pictures, a background and the subject. I used the layer mask to take out the background on his image. I also clone stamped out the bars in the back image. I overlayed the two of them and put in a shadow using the burn tool.
Lightroom Practice
Before
Edit
For this image I used Lightroom software. I turned the image B&W and adjusted the whites higher and the blacks lower. I turned the contrast up and the exposure down. I cropped the image to get rid of some of the blur in the lower right corner and also to help with composition. I wanted to be offset in the image. Lastly, I turned down the shadows.

Next, i turned down the exposure and turned the contrast up.

Shoes
- How did you approach the composition? I got close to the ground and made the focus of the picture the back of the shoes
- What type of light did you use? This picture was taken in my room, at night with the flash on
- Why do you think the photograph is successful? I think its successful because it follows the rule of thirds
- How did you approach the composition? I put my phone on the floor sideways and made the focus the side and back of the shoes
- What type of light did you use? I turned the Christmas light in the back on and used flash
- Why do you think the photograph is successful? I think this is successful because it is the rule of thirds and both shoes are at different angles
- How did you approach the composition? i stood over the shoes and made the focus the inside of the shoes and the box.
- What type of light did you use? in this, there was no light, just flash
- Why do you think the photograph is successful? This is successful because it follows
