For this Photo I chose to take a picture of ice cream. The photo is simple but has a lot of color and detail. I first turned the exposure down because the picture was a little bright. Next I chose to offset the picture. I then turned the Highlights up.
For this photo I took a close up of fruit in a bowl. The lighting was really good on this photo so all i did was add highlights to bring them out more.
Alison, you should have three images and should have a contact sheet with 45 images and three different scenarios on each. Your fruit picture is nicely done, the composition, texture and light is interesting. You need two more like this. The ice cream one should showcase the food itself and not the brand. All the audience is drawn to is the logo. The composition is not enough, and your light is very yellow with harsh pink tones on your skin. You needed more time to get this done but it was already two weeks late.
